Insane Underwater Fishing Footage!! Dark Sleeper, Finesse Jig, and Ned Craws!

Its hard to argue with Tim's Top 5 when you see these bass absolutely destroying them! Finesse fishing is often overlooked but it can be deadly during the prespawn and spawn for wary bass. Pay close attention as Tim explains his top 5 baits for spawning bass because he's giving you key details to go along with each bait choice.

Many anglers lock into a single bait during the spawn. They throw the same bait to every bed regardless of the fish's natural reaction. This is a huge mistake! Its critical to have a handful of options ready to go and adjust quickly from one to the next until you find the bait each bass is most interested in.

Below is a breakdown of the top baits and equipment Tim discussed and used in the video. We included color recommendations as well to imitate natural baitfish as well as bluegill color schemes.

Spring Bass Fishing With The One-Legged Man

Derek lost his leg in a freak accident last Summer and the TacticalBassin family banded together, raising over $40,000 to help him in his time of need! We promised that if you supported Derek, when he was ready we'd get him on the water and help him catch a new personal best. Come along on the first day of that quest as we hit the water together.

We began the day in search of a reaction bite. We found the best success on Alabama Rigs early but we quickly turned to deep water finesse fishing as the sun rose. As the day progressed we started throwing big trout swimbaits in search of that new PB.

Listen closely to Derek's incredible story. Its a huge reminder of how quickly life can change forever. One moment you're shopping at the grocery store and the next you're fighting for your life! Life is fragile, strive to never take it for granted.

This is just the beginning of our time with Derek. We're going to pursue his new PB this Spring and will bring you guys along for the journey. Below is a breakdown of the gear we used on the water.

Finesse Swimbaits For Early Spring Bass

Swimbaits catch giant bass but that doesn't mean you always have to throw a BIG swimbait. Today's video is all about fishing small swimbaits at key times to catch quality bass. Knowing when to downsize can be the difference between an amazing day on the water and catching nothing at all.

Don't assume that small swimbaits mean you'll catch little fish. Even the little 2" offerings catch giant bass when bass are targeting small baitfish. The 2.8 keitech, Easy Shiner and Armor Shad are all great shad and minnow imitators. Pair them with a small head that has a finesse hook and you can drop down to light line, ultralight tackle, and get a ton of bites when other anglers are struggling.

Below is a breakdown of the gear Tim discussed in the video. We're also including some of our favorite colors. While your natural inclination is to throw the ghost and pearl colors don't be afraid to mix in the bright and bold options, you'd be amazed how often a giant bass will eat white or chartreuse simply because its different.

The Swimbaits...

-Keitech 2.8 Fat Impact: http://bit.ly/2ab7s8v

Natural Colors: Crystal Shad, Tennessee Shad, Pro Blue Red Pearl

Bold Colors: Chartreuse/Blue, SunGill, Morning Dawn, Chartreuse Shad
