Boat electronics are incredible! The advancements in mapping and sonar give anglers incredible advantages, but only if they know how to interpret them. Today we're taking a look at what different structures look like on the map, then we're going to those places in person to see what they look like with the Humminbird Apex units.

Bass fishing has its own lingo and it can get overwhelming. Humps, ledges, spawning bays, pockets, flats, the list goes on forever. We've all received advice from a well meaning angler at the dock or the local tackle shop but secretly had no idea what they were talking about. MEGA Live and Target Lock (Advanced Turret For Live Sonar Transducer)

What is Target Lock? How does it impact your LIVE Sonar? Today Tim is showing you the equipment on the front of his boat and walking through how he dials in his Target Lock Turret and some of the key settings he uses with his Mega Live Sonar. 

This technology shines when targeting offshore fish. Traditionally you had to choose between foot control and turret control of live sonar technologies but this Target Lock Turret is blurring the lines and giving the benefits of both, along with some amazing tracking features. Not every bass angler needs this level of technology on their boat, but for those that do, we're here to help you understand the settings that will help you dial in your equipment.
