Do you want to go fishing with Matt and Tim? Ever wanted to be in a TacticalBassin video? Here's your chance!!!

Starting today and running through April 30th all you need to do is get some TacticalBassin apparel, go catch a fish (we don't care if its a 15 lb bass or a 5" bluegill through a hole in the ice) and share it on your INSTAGRAM account. Enter as many times as you want and on May 1st we'll randomly choose one winner to join us for a day of fishing and filming! You'll need to make your own arrangements to get to the lake but after that we're going to have a blast catching fish together!!

New Years Goals... What Are Yours?

Happy New Year!!! Its that time of year again, time to set goals so you can be a better bass fisherman in 2017. So what do you want? A teener largemouth? Your first smallmouth? Learn how to fish a jig? Whatever it is, we want to hear all about it!

Our goals are lofty this year because we want to keep growing and developing as anglers. They're so lofty that "ridiculous" might be a better description but we're going to keep pushing the limits of the sport and see what happens!

Below are our goals...

Matt:
-12 lb Spotted Bass
-15+ lb Largemouth Bass from Clear Lake
-7+ lb Smallmouth Bass
-Help at least one client catch a personal best 10+ lb Largmeouth Bass

Tim:
-12 lb Spotted Bass
-Catch another 13+ lb Largemouth
-Have another angler break a fishing record while fishing together
-Help at least 3 friends catch a new personal best

The Story of Tim's 15 lber!

Some anglers spend years in search of a trophy bass. Tim put in his time as an angler but on his first day with a swimbait he boated two bass for 25 lbs!

Tim's first swimbait fish ever was a 9.8 lber from Collins Lake. It was the biggest bass he'd ever caught but somehow it was still bittersweet. He had high hopes for his first 10 lber and to come so close was tough to swallow. Hours later, lined up on the same spot he got his chance!
