Late Summer can be a difficult time to fish. Most anglers react by slowing down and fishing places where they've been successful in the past. While that seems wise on the surface, it's the worst decision you can make! Instead, focus your time on new patterns, covering water, and fishing quickly. To be even more successful, focus your attention on the extremes of lure size by focusing on small presentations or big swimbaits.

Targeting Bigger Bass In Late Summer! These Tips Really Work!!

Late August isn't known as a "big bass" time of year... until now! Come along for an awesome evening on the water as Tim catches BIG largemouth after adapting to changing conditions. He didn't go out planning to pick up a spinning rod, but its what the conditions required.

Tim headed out with a plan to frog and fish heavy cover. The conditions weren't lining up, and once he set his preconceived notions aside and fished the conditions, he was rewarded in a big way! The next time you're on the water and you're struggling, take a step back and evaluate whether you should power through, or adapt. You just never know what could be waiting when you do!

These Baits Catch Bass When Its Hot In August!

These baits get bit in spite of the heat! You've got to try them! If you're struggling to get bit, it's time to downsize. We're at the beginning of a trend that will last all the way into Fall. Come along for an awesome day of fishing with Matt and his Dad! We're on vacation in the North to get away from the heat and the bass fishing is on fire! The fish are aggressive, and the water is clear. What more could we ask for?!

This lake is a perfect example of a natural Northern fishery. It has a healthy mix of both largemouth and smallmouth bass, and you can target either one. Today the smallmouth are on finesse patterns and the largemouth are ambushing around shallow cover.
