Spinnerbait Tricks For Spring Bass Fishing

These quick tips will take your spinnerbait fishing to the next level! From color selection and blade style, to subtle changes in retrieve cadence, we're giving you the tools you need to begin catching bass right away. Whether you're fishing muddy creeks or crystal clear lakes, we explain the changes that will make you successful.

Spinnerbaits are amongst the easiest baits to fish for bass. A simple "chuck and wind" approach will catch fish most days. But like any technique, subtleties make all the difference! Knowing when to switch from a painted blade to a nickel blade, or a white spinnerbait to a shad spinnerbait, can be the difference between a couple bites and a day you'll never forget.

Below is a breakdown of our favorite spinnerbaits, trailers, and gear. They're sorted by water clarity and style to keep it as simple as possible. Keep in mind the best weight depends on how deep you're fishing but 1/2 oz is by far the most versatile.

Dock Fishing Made Easy - How To Catch EVERY Bass!

Stop wasting casts and scaring fish!  These tricks will change the way you approach docks, the casts you make, and the fish you will catch. Ever wondered how many fish are really under the docks? You're about to find out!

Tim uses a handful of baits but his method is very simple. He approaches docks from the outside in, and darkest shadows to lightest shadows. He also treats shadows and shadow edges the same way he does a piece of hard cover.

By mixing finesse and reaction baits and fishing the key cover pieces, you will effectively reach every single fish under the dock. These tricks work!  Stop making the easy casts, catching the small fish, and scaring the big ones. Use these tips to immediately improve your catch rates.

Bass Moving Shallow? No Problem With These 5 Baits!

The Bass flood into the shallows every Spring to feed and spawn. With the shallow water comes a whole new set of problems. Shallow snags, finicky bass, vegetation, and thick cover can all make it difficult to catch Bass in Spring. Instead of fighting it, embrace the shallow water this year!

These baits make it easy to fish shallow! We use a 2-part system, combining power and finesse to coax bass into biting. When one doesn't work, the other certainly will. Throw in a couple really unique baits and fall rates and you've got a sure system that will produce bites throughout the coming months!

The Spinnerbaits...
River2Sea Bling (3/8 not 1/4): http://bit.ly/2diSwqq
Damiki Gladiator Spinnerbait: http://bit.ly/2qENSIL
Keitech 4.3 swimbait trailer: http://bit.ly/2ab7s8v

The Topwater...
