Summer Jig Fishing Tips To Catch Bigger Bass When Its HOT Outside!

Summer jig fishing is a great way to catch big bass! In today's video Matt starts off by simplifying jig fishing for the angler that just wants to build confidence in the technique. He goes on to break down 3 unique situations where fishing a jig will catch bigger bass than other techniques. Don't overlook the jig this Summer!

Jig fishing is one of those techniques you can dive as deep into as you want. It can be as simple as a single jig in a great color that you use effectively throughout the year or it can be taken to a whole different level. It can also be taken to the max with different styles, colors, and retrieves. In today's video Matt explains how to use a jig effectively in heavy cover, around grass, as well as on your lightest Bait Finesse combo.

Bass are aggressive this time of year in most lakes, but if you're having a hard time, it's probably time to downsize. From craws, to swimbaits, to worms, these are the tricks we rely on to keep catching fish!

We love to throw big baits for big fish but there is also a time to downsize. Small baits can catch BIG bass, especially as we head into Summer. If things get tough, we like to focus on small profile baits to show bass something they're not used to seeing. It's amazing how quickly you can turn a day on the water around by simply going to a smaller presentation!
