Fall Bass Fishing: Trick To Target Offshore And Suspended Bass!

Come along as we smash big bass offshore! We're targeting Spotted Bass and Largemouth suspending around offshore structure and the bite is wide open! Tim catches them on everything from a crankbait, to a dropshot, to a topwater on this wide open bite!

Suspended bass are the final frontier of bass fishing. Targeting these open water creatures is extremely difficult and until recently, required incredible work, timing, and a little luck. The advancements in forward facing sonar have opened the door further but it still requires finely honed skills to catch these fish consistently.

MUDDY vs CLEAR - Tips For Catching Bass Right Now!

Come along for a day of fishing on a brand new lake where Matt is faced with muddy water at one of the lake, and crystal clear water at the other! Muddy cold water is every angler's nemesis, and clear cold water isn't much better! Many anglers shy away from Winter fishing because they can't figure it out but today Matt is giving away the keys to having confidence and catching fish in these challenging conditions. 

While the conditions aren't the best for exploring a new lake (notice Matt's icy beard during the intro) Matt makes the best of it and even catches a few fish along the way. Pay close attention to his clear water tips about using light weights for a slow fall and the pendulum technique for fishing varying depths with ease. Then pay even more attention to his details about muddy water fishing. From key water temperatures, to cover, to his favorite lure colors, Matt pours out the information throughout the video.

Fall Topwater Fishing! Walking Baits For Big Bass!

Spotted Bass and topwater! Does it get more fun?! Tim is exploring a new lake and there are Magnum Spotted Bass chasing baitfish in open water! Watch as he adapts his baits and technique to go from catching small spots to big magnums in just a few hours on a lake he knows nothing about!

Fall is topwater time! If you don't have a walking bait in your arsenal you're missing an opportunity to have a lot of fun on the water. Today Tim had to adjust the size and color of his walking bait until he found what the fish were after. He also used a minnow-imitating dropshot to get a few bonus bites when the fish dropped down to the bottom between feeding periods. You can mirror this pattern on your lake, using a topwater in conjunction with a bottom contact bait to catch more fish when you're on the water.
