Summer Worm Fishing Tricks

Worms, colors, hooks, and even rod tips that will make you a better worm fisherman this Summer! Its time to fish a worm for those lethargic summer bass and we're going to tell you everything you'll need to know.

Anglers often overcomplicate this style of fishing. Pairing a straight tail worm with a shaky head in either a natural or dark color is often all it takes to be successful in the summer. Keep it simple and focus more on your technique than complicated color selections.

If you're prepared with Junebug, Black/Blue, and Green Pumpkin in a handful of worm sizes you've got everything you need to catch bass all Summer long. Below is a break down of the gear and baits that we use.
